| In Plant training as a part of the partial fulfillment of B.Tech degree for a period of 4 weeks in Vijayawada Thermal Power Station, with the title "Feed water treatment system".
The feed water treatment system is used for treating the water used for steam generation in boilers and used in various other units in thermal power plants. The main objective of feed water treatment plant in power plants is to provide pure and clean water to all working units.
This project covers various topologies like basic water chemistry, sedimentation, demineralization and purified water storage and pumping etc. These cover the overall thesis of the feed water treatment system. In the project book I have also mentioned some drawbacks of the system for which some remedial steps to be taken is also provided.
